Professional Recognition

Mission Description

Context

The International Federation of Automotive Experts (FIEA) is a global organization represented on all continents. Historically, European countries have had a strong presence there, with a particular link to Brussels for geographical and economic aspects. The main objective of the FIEA is to have our profession recognised and to become the trusted third party in the automotive sector. To achieve this, we need to develop a reference document on our joint professional activities.

The latter will be an extremely rich source of data and would be used to make their presentation in Brussels, but also for everyone to present the profession of expertise at the broad European level and outside Europe.

Its content will be as follows:

  • Definition of skills and qualifications : to establish a detailed profile of the skills, qualifications and responsibilities of automotive experts in the countries of Europe (starting with the FIEA member countries).
  • Identify the stakeholders: Establish a detailed profile of the relationships that experts have with ministries, associations and repair professionals
  • Norms and standards : Establish minimum and common standards for the training and accreditation of automotive experts.
  • International comparison : analysing and comparing existing standards in different European countries to find a common framework.

To carry out this mission, the FIEA is looking for:
